Muskaan is built on collective will, determination, and unwavering optimism. Founded in 1982 in New Delhi, Muskaan was created to fill a critical gap in services for adults with intellectual disabilities—providing the training, advocacy, and community support needed to help each person realize their full potential.

Today, Muskaan operates as a comprehensive adult training and vocational center, empowering individuals through skill development, meaningful employment, and sustained family support. Our work extends beyond training, promoting awareness, strengthening human rights, and fostering a broader culture of acceptance and inclusion.

Muskaan’s programs have transformed countless lives and strengthened the community as a whole.

We are honored to celebrate 40 years of Muskaan, and we invite you to join us for a special Gala on May 2, 2026.
